We could not have been more pleased with our recent experience and stay at Domus Marina in Rome. It was so clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and the location was perfect for our activities and also to taxi access. Luca was a dream to work with - he was always so prompt with his responses to our questions. He was on time to meet us for check in and check out. He was patient as well, making sure we understood the logistics - especially with a bit of language barrier. Luca was also very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. One of our favorite meals of the trip was a place he recommended. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay and have already recommended it to others planning trips to Rome. Thank you for a wonderful experience from start to finish!!!
The location is fantastic – literally next to the Colosseum
I can’t say enough about how wonderful the apartment was and how awesome and accommodating Cristina and Luca were. The location is fantastic - literally next to the Colosseum. There are plenty of restaurants around and a grocery store across the street. We walked almost everywhere. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the center of Rome (Trevi Fountain/ Spanish Steps area), about 20 minutes to the Forum and about 35 - 40 minutes to the Vatican. (A cab to the Vatican is quick.) The apartment itself is pristine and was perfect for us (my husband and mother). Luca arranged airport pickup and drop off at an additional charge that was 100% worth it. When we return to Rome, we will definitely be booking the apartment again. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us to have what we needed for a fantastic trip.
Cristina’s place was perfect for our family
Cristina's place was perfect for our family of 4. The apartment is a lovely blend of the old and the new. There is a beautiful outdoor porch that faces the courtyard and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the ambient sounds of the city and truly feel like a local. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean, the kitchen is very nice, the air conditioning works well (we never thought we'd have to use it in October but it was unseasonably warm!), and communication with the host was excellent. And the location! You are steps away from the Colosseum in the vibrant Monti area, surrounded by excellent restaurants. The 24 hour store across the street is so convenient as well. There is some street noise because of the lively location, but it wasn't an issue for us. We stayed in 4 rentals across Italy during our holiday and this was our favorite.

Don’t miss this spot. 5 star, cleanliness, space, amenities and location. You won’t be disappointed It has all the amenities of home. The welcome bottle of wine was an unexpected but lovely treat.

This place is amazing! GREAT location, right next to Colosseum, WOW! Great location for major sites. Terrific restaurants nearby. Communication was excellent from the start. Place is really updated, lots of space for a family. Nice balcony, AC throughout. 5 star “Loved your place! great space, location, updates. really perfect! sorry we had to leave early.”
Everything was perfect
Beautiful apartment near the Colosseum. Hosts were gracious, prompt in answering questions prior to departure, plus helpful in arranging transportation and meeting us upon arrival. Everything was perfect including a well-stocked kitchen, hair dryer with diffuser, and iron! The mattress was hands down the most comfortable and air conditioning was easy to program and kept the apartment cool during the heat wave. A 24-hour market is across the street with restaurants and gelato close by. Our favorite was Pizza Forum. Would definitely return!!

What a great spot near the Colosseum! You can look out of the window and see an ancient wonder of the world. They place is nice, well kept, with tons of amenities. The area nearby is very walkable and there is easy access to all forms of transit. One of the better Airbnb hosts I have had, they helped with check in, Covid-19 testing, and transportation to the airport. Really incredible hosts.
I highly recommend this apartment
We stayed in Cristina's apartment for six days in late April 2022. It is a very well equipped, modern and comfortable apartment. The outdoor patio feels like a real luxury in the center of Rome. The location is as good as advertised, literally right across the street from the Colisseum. The local neighborhood has great cafes and restaurants. The 7x24 Carrefours market across the street is very handy and the nearby underground car park is excellent if you have a car. I highly recommend this apartment.

We booked the apartment to attend the Rome marathon and we couldn’t have picked a better location! The colosseum was right outside the front door! Restaurants everywhere, a supermarket right across the street… and the apartment was perfect for my family! Luca even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy! If you want a place that is clean, great location and wonderful hosts, definitely pick this place!

We had a fantastic stay. The location alone is 10 stars. To come out of the main apartment entrance every morning and literally see the coliseum every morning is incredible! We all had very comfortable nights sleep and the living room with Smart Tv was great to relax. If we are ever in Rome again, would definitely return!
